Mindful Doodles #42 shows a pair of lunch mates sharing a conversation about the amount of food they are ordering for lunch. One guy asks the other if he is going to buy additional rice for lunch. His lunchtime pal replies that if he eats so much carbohydrate, he wouldn’t be able to work after lunch.
Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.
Mindful Thought of the Day:
Be mindful of your food intake. Don’t stuff yourself to the point of feeling drowsy because all your blood has gone to the digestive system to absorb the digested nutrients. You’ll feel drowsy and dull. Not exactly the state to be doing work.
