Dream of Immigrants

If you dream of immigrants, it could be a dream based on themes you experienced about them, during your day.

Don’t support businesses that cheat people.

It is not unique to find this type of experience.

There is unrest in the neighborhood with criminal behaviors going on.

MLMM Photo Challenge #351.

FOWC Jan 26 2021 is unique.

pensitivity’s threethingschallenge – only one word, unrest, is used.

Dreaming of light

Once, I thought I dreamed of a person who was shining with light. I could not see the face, but felt he was male. He stood against a background of shining light which was so bright that I was almost blinded by the sheer amount of light.

When I woke up, I discovered it was daybreak and my bedroom was flooded by sunlight. Light shone through my closed eye lids and probably stimulated my dream about light. External stimuli can trigger a dream that includes it.

Dreaming of being outdoors in sunlight.

11th day

On the 11th day, salesman Freddy finally makes an appointment to visit an apartment to take measurements for ready-made and custom made roller blinds.

And it only took 11 days. His persistence attests to his sincerity in keeping his word.

Salesman finally keeps promise to “arrange” appointment for on-site measurement.

This is a frame belonging to a longer series of comic on Buying Blinds.

Writing prompts –

As this is a long series of 33 picture frames, I hope to get as many readers to look at these pics as possible. That’s why I’ve combined several writing prompts here. I hope at least, the hosts of the individual writing prompts of MLMM will visit. I know all folks are busy and nobody has the time to come around but at least, the hosts will come. Thank you, you beautiful people.

Curiosity and desire to get rid of my skin tags encouraged me to fix a consultation with a laser surgeon. He explained that laser will be like sniping off a skin tag; only that it is burning it dead. My desire to be bare-faced without skin tags persuaded me to undergo the surgery.

The roar of the machines in the surgery theater were like a distant hum.

Over-dieting: Mindful Doodles #121

Mindful Doodles #121

Be mindful of over-dieting.

Hey Girl! The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. He has to eat more than a sandwich. Let him eat what he wants. You can eat your sandwich.

Photo Challenge.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.

Why be mindful? By paying time and attention to a disturbing stimulus, you deal  with it. It ceases to be new and disruptive to you. You have released anxiety. You have greatly reduced your mental stress.

Mindful Thought of the Day:
Be mindful of what you eat and what you don’t eat.

Be mindful at work: Mindful Doodles #64

Mindful Doodles #64:
This comic is drawn using a photo prompt, which I interpret as to unwind or its time to rewind.

A woman working at a company showed up for work one day, when her supervisor claims he clearly instructed her not to, because her service was not required on that day. That was a slow day and her rooster did not include that day to show up for duty. She said she did not understand what the sup said to her initially and that was why she showed up for work. If she reached the stage where she could not comprehend basic instruction, it may mean she needs to be mindful, reflect on where she went wrong, consider taking a break from work to unwind or rewind, or think about her direction for her future.

Abstract Art #2

Landscape representation.

This landscape was painted using a pattern approach. This isn’t exactly abstract but I’m labeling my post Abstract Art #2 because it is a part of my journey learning how to paint abstracts.

How to Find your Third Eye

She had her Stigmata, which was also her bane. Her strongest psychic aid was also her Archilles heel. Sometimes, her appendage refused to obey her brain’s command to move. She saw no practical use of her mark, save to remind herself she was one of the chosen, to complete a mission.

But her Stigmata wasn’t her only uniqueness. She also had her Third Eye. She developed her skill by telling her inner consciousness to utilize her Third Eye to send her messages.

“Where is my missing uncle?” she asked her Third Eye. That night, she had a dream. Her uncle was detained by the immigration authorities for over-staying on his social visit visa. She couldn’t believe the manifest message, and thought she should decipher it for a hidden, latent message.

A few days later, she received word from her aunt that her uncle had indeed, been detained. Whatever her pineal gland communicated in the created dream was true.

Now that the fiction part is over, the psychology part is below.

Find Your Third Eye.
I studied Clinical Psychology. One course was on Inner Consciousness. My mentor was an academic from South Africa. She designed a lesson on developing our third eye by making us try to train our pineal gland. It is a legendary gland, allegedly situated deep inside your forehead. We were supposed to get acquainted with our pineal gland. Scientific facts say it secretes melatonin, a hormone that regulates the sleep pattern. Psychology says our pineal gland is much more.

How to communicate with our pineal gland:
Step One – Go to a quiet place, like your inner sanctuary in your home.

Step Two – Close your eyes. Concentrate to focus on your pineal gland. Talk to it. If you seek answers to difficulties, ask it to help you. Ask one question at a time.

Step Three – Ask your pineal gland to send you the answer to your question.

Step Four – Pay attention to stimuli around you, happenings, thoughts, gut feelings and dreams. Your pineal gland may send you the answer through any of these channels.

After you receive your answer, then you can repeat the steps to ask your pineal gland another new question. You should only ask one question at a time.

Your Third Eye.

Meaning of dreaming of a third eye:

What is the meaning of dreaming of a third eye? You have two eyes. A third eye can mean someone is watching you.
