One night, my young friend dreamed she was carrying a small child and talking to her. My friend is a college student and has no boyfriend, or inclination to take care of a small child. She asked me what was the meaning of her dream of carrying a small child.
I said her dream could be about herself. The small child in dream imagery could be herself. She could be getting in touch with her inner child. She may be reconciling with her wishes from her younger days, or trying to get past a stage of mental/ emotional growth.
