Jumping Queue #1: Mindful Doodles #100

Mindful Doodles #100:
A dating couple (I assumed they were in a relationship because they looked too young to be married) was in a hurry to hail a taxi. They wanted to travel to a hotel to book a room. Unlike all decent people, they couldn’t wait in the queue for their turn. They brazenly walked up to a vulnerable older woman, and snatched the first cab that drove up. Karma served them. The driver only accepted cash as payment. The couple didn’t have enough cash on them to pay for their ride. So they had to give this taxi a miss and wait for another one which could accept credit card.

Be civic minded.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.

Why be mindful? By paying time and attention to a disturbing stimulus, you deal  with it. It ceases to be new and disruptive to you. You have released anxiety. You have greatly reduced your mental stress.

Mindful Thought of the Day:
Pay attention to the unwritten laws of the Universe. Karma is real.
