This is partly a book review to promote Naguib Mahfouz’s book “I Found Myself … The Last Dreams” and partly to explain the meanings of dreams described in the book. You need to have a copy of the book to read what were his 100 recorded dreams. His dreams contained imagery, icons, symbols and other devices that could be understood in dream interpretation analyzed by psychology.
Every dream symbol has a meaning. Some dreams have common themes, like dreaming of old girlfriends. These posts are not based on the book. These are common themes that dreamers see in their invented dreams. And Mahfouz wrote about dreams that are similar to these themes.
