Is dreaming fake?

Our waking reality is full of fake news. Therefore, is our dream world also full of fake imagery? According to the psychology of analysis of dreams, the answer would be yes. Dreams continue themes in waking life so the fake ideas would be replayed in dreams. Dreaming is real.

In waking life, we may wish for some things which we can never own. We dream of the opposite, that is, being in possession of these things. In this manner, dreams are our wish fulfillment, sponsored by our mind. Dreaming is fake.

Dreams can be real or fake, depending on the context.

  1. Dreams put together fragments of thoughts or imperceptible impressions from our waking hours, and not necessarily in the most logical manner. The stories that dreams create, therefore, become fake, though the ingredients are authentic.
