Sun smiles on Lulu

The sun smiles on Lulu. She is the first New Zealand to progress into Centre Court at Wimbledon since Chris Lewis in the men’s final in 1983. Lulu won in her fourth-round play 6-2 5-7 6-2 over Emma Raducanu. This makes Lulu the first Kiwi female to enter Wimbledon quarter-finals. Lulu has written New Zealand’s history in Wimbledon in several aspects.

There were around 15000 spectators roaring for Raducanu but the sun smiles on Lulu. Her name was originally Lulu Radovcic and she was born on 14 April 2001. Her dad is Croatian and her mom is Chinese. Her step-father is German-English. Lulu has lived in New Zealand, Switzerland and United States.

He wrote a newspaper article entitled “Learning to spend on love”, which was published in The New York Times International Edition, on Saturday – Sunday, December 16 – 17, 2023. He related how his Mom often dreamed of his deceased Dad. David’s Dad asked his Mom when is her estimated time of arrival (ETA). The widow replied that she would join him soon.

David’s parents are Korean.
