#100HappyDays Challenge Day 17

For today’s 100HappyDays Challenge Day 17, its about chatting up strangers. I don’t think it is a good idea. Men and women usually desire more from you. Here are some anecdotes.

I was on a bus returning home from grocery shopping. A woman started talking to me.

Woman 1: What’s that in your shopping bag?

Me: Its frozen instant meal.

Woman 1: Do you do your own housework?

Me: Yes.

Woman 1: I’m on my way to see a new potential employer. I work as a domestic house maid and I’m getting a transfer. My boss asked me to see my new boss.

Me: Oh.

Woman: My boss’ small daughter bit me.

Me: Oh.

Woman: Do you need a house maid?

Me: No. I can’t afford one.

Woman: I can cook and clean. My boss said I’m very good at cooking.

Me: Good. You can make your new boss happy. This is my stop. Bye.

P.S. Woman 1 wanted me to hire her. She wanted more than a companion to talk to on this bus. I wasn’t happier than before I started talking, but I became wiser.
