This is what happened.
A young woman relative called our mutual relation at our home.
She said: “My marriage is in trouble. My husband fights with me every day. I don’t want to get pregnant but he forced me to. Should I abort my baby?”
He, the relative, said, “You have to make the decision. It is your life.”
She said: “I feel I’m not ready for a baby. This is my body, my choice.”
The convo ended shortly after this.
A few days later, we heard from that woman’s Grandma that she was bleeding. The new mother had said: “Does it matter that I’m bleeding?”
Within a day, she was calling her Aunt to consult on medical procedures to treat her heavy bleeding. Her Aunt suggested she check into a hospital. She declined. She troubled her old Grandma the whole day and night. She refused to wear a pad or a disposable diaper. She stained her bottoms and everywhere else she sat.
She had eaten her pills.
She realized she had to be admitted.
The next morning, her dad drove her to their nearest hospital. He took a wheel chair from the admissions and she sat on it.
After the woman was examined by her gynaecologist, she was prepared for surgery in the Day Theater. The truth tumbled out. She had asked her gynaecologist for the Pills.
Her fetus and uterine lining were being expelled.
