Don’t ignore astrology after you’ve consulted the charts: Scary Story #10

Ignoring astrology after checking the charts is a form of disrespect. If a person is unlikely to follow the wisdom of ancient divination, then she shouldn’t ask for it.

I heard this story from my friend. His female relative went to consult an astrologer for advice before marriage. That relative was told not to date, engage or marry a certain young man, whose horoscope wasn’t compatible with hers.

Sundial.

She was headstrong and determined to have her way. She trashed the astrologer, and started her engagement ceremony and other formalities. Her wedding was scheduled for a date one year later. She delivered a wedding invitation to the astrologer who forecast the warning. She wanted to spite the astrologer, to show how she has zero respect for his chart reading skills and divination.

The wedding happened in the early days of May 2026.

Barely three months into her wedded bliss, she conceived a baby. The down side was her marriage had deteriorated into chaos. She was considering divorcing her husband and aborting her baby before her state’s statutory ban at 20 weeks.

I still can’t fully believe a three month old marriage has self-destructed. I think this is scary.

I have suspicions that the couple maybe playing psychological games to manipulate each other, and the relatives around them. The new bride had no reservations about airing her grievance to her paternal relatives. It was her method of asking for help; more like a complete takeover to allow her to continue her life, while handling the complications.

Life is to be lived by the individuals. My friend is in no position to orchestra a takeover of his relative’s marital problems. The bride’s parents can only partially support her by offering her a room to live in. If her baby is carried to full term and born, she has to be responsible for some of the finances and caregiving. There is no spare woman or man to fully take over the role of a mother.

Updated:

Around the first week of September 2026, the pregnant woman told her relations she suffered bleeding. The woman said she was worried about her pregnancy.

Her dad accompanied her to their local hospital for a checkup. The ultrasound revealed her fetus was lost.

There is more to the predictions, which I can’t reveal, until after it has happened.
