The young child’s father and mother are very important people in their life. If the child dreams of an emperor, the interpretation is that they have dreamed of their father. If the child dreams of an empress, the dream analysis will say they have dreamed of their mother. This is written by Sigmund Freud, in his book, “The Uncanny”, p. 40.
