This is how NOT to lose friends. You do NOT want to lose friends by telling lousy white lies. Mindful Doodles #20 is about a woman C., who works in HR. She told lies to falsely obtain the telephone numbers of unsuspecting people. She said one person (A) wanted to talk to another person (B) because of a problem that could have originated from B. The latter was shocked, upset and stressed. Now what could be the problem? Did she have to spend money and endure lots of inconvenience to fix the problem? After worrying for many days, Person B decided that it was all a sham operation to intimidate and coerce. B decided they would no longer trust person C.
Mindful Thought of the Day:
People who are often asking for favors, should read up on How To Ask Favors and Win Friends. Instead, they improvise and invent their version of How To Ask Favors and Lose Friends.
Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.
