Are you a slave to the internet? Mindful Doodles #21

What would you do when the internet is down? Do you allow yourself to be over dependent on the internet for everything? Then you would feel frustrated, angry, sad and upset when your internet is disrupted. You have been accustomed to having the internet 24/7. You feel lost without being connected. What have we evolved into, when we are solely dependent on the internet for entertainment? Many of us have lost the interest to read books because we have so much to do online. Some teenagers got addicted to video games, social media, and porn. A small portion of these young minds are unable to cope with addiction and other social problems. They are sent to the mental health hospital. Children grow up faster as they learn by absorbing social media’s content.

Mindful Thought of the Day:
Do not be a slave to the internet.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.

Don’t mis-use your time.
