Cai in The Avatar Challenge Autumn Leaves Edition 6 new photos

It is autumn, hence the Falling Leaves theme for this avatar challenge.

Falling Leaves!!

Create a profile picture or avatar using the theme, Falling Leaves. Whether that means using an autumn background, in a leaf pile, or just a picture of you looking out the window at the leaves.

The Categories You Can Choose from Are…

Layered

This includes Canva and like services. If your image was made by digital layering, it is in this category. 

Photography 

One of the two encouraged categories, this one is self-explanatory. 

Hand Drawn

This includes paintings, sketches (both colored and B&W), digital art (outside of AI and layered services), and physical layered images This is the second of the encouraged categories. 

What is NOT Allowed

Services such as Pixbay and Unsplash are not allowed. At least AI images carry some of you in it. While images off Pixbay and others may resonate with you, it is 100% someone else’s work.

The leaf on the left eye is decaying, hence the discoloration.

The picture is framed with a border made of newspaper.

The center space where the main art is pasted, is a layer of brown paper.

The face of the avatar is made up of yellow paper.

The avatar wears an eye mask made of two yellow leaves.

At the thickest part, there are 4 layers; frame paper, background paper, paper for face and a layer of leaf.

The background is painted paper.

Cai’s avatar is painted and collaged on the background.

In front of Cai is an autumn leaf.

On top of the leaf are a paper origami butter and origami dragon fly.

These are the draft copies, showing the Before stage, when the patterned paper clothes are pasted on the paper dolls.

Paper doll is painted and pasted with pattern paper dress. Doll is glued standing on a fallen leaf, against a background of patterned fabric pasted on card paper. 5 layers.

The method is the same method as above.

Cais avatar is pasted into an autumn scene – falling leaves, acorn, and trees in autumn season. I’ve explained about the avatar method. Now, about the picture – color pencils with layered coloring.
