Its common for us to see our image reflected in a mirror or shiny surface but its less common to see ourselves in a dream. In every dream, we know we are starring in the dream play, because we are aware of our self-identity in the dream. We may not be able to see our whole body in the dream, but we recognize ourselves as participants in the dream. Certainly, we see the progression of events as continuous, and in the eyes of our identity, instead of someone else’s identity.
What happens when you have a dream and feel that you are experiencing it, but can’t recognize yourself as inside the dream? This person may be having a mental disorder, which interferes with self-awareness and self-identity.
