The culprits who threw trash on my porch roof and who made me fall when I climbed down in my attempt to pick up the junk, laughed at me. They didn’t know the seriousness of my injury.
Life continued as usual.
I texted my relative to come and stay in my house, to help me with chores that needed physical activities. Some dry groceries can be purchased via online shopping. The green groceries that required personal selection had to be bought personally by in-store presence.
My relative arrived the day after I sent my message. That was a great relief to me. I didn’t have to drag my foot into the supermarkets. He helped to buy green groceries and water the plants in the garden.
I did my own work, cooked the food, swept the floors and mopped them. On the days that I had to visit the clinic for medical checkups, he accompanied me, helped me get the borrowed wheelchair, pushed me around, and helped me with the procedures in the clinic.
