
After reading Proverbs Chapter 13, I choose line 8 for my favorite line:
“A man’s riches may ransome his life,
but a poor man hears no threat”
The Old Testament has many examples of retribution for injustices. In contemporary times, legal justice is complicated. It does not answer to moral justice, or ethical rights justice. After legal jurisdiction, there could be civil case proceedings in court. The presiding judge will decide.
