There are 30 Chapters in the Bible’s Book of Proverbs and this number is good for a month long reflection as we read one proverb per day.
This post concentrates on Proverb 11. All proverbs contain warnings of what to do and what not to do. After reading it, I choose line 25 as my favorite line to remember.
A generous person will be enriched,
and the one who gives water will get water.
Proverb 11: 25
Being generous does not pertain to generosity to giving money alone. Giving can include giving of time, sharing your time, life and resources with others.
