Use yourself to further your self-promotion. You give yourself permission to propagate your message. You don’t need to borrow someone else’s fame, position or image. You are enough in your own right.
The red flowers in the photo look like they comprise of spikes. Who has seen before such spiky flowers? Do you think they are less worthy to be called beautiful? No, they are as pretty as any other flower. These flowers portray beauty in their own right.
Some of us worry about our body image. We don’t tell a book by its cover. Likewise, the body is an outer cover. Our body image does not say what kind of person we are. I’m not saying to stay overweight. I’m saying to stop excessive dieting and exercising.
