There are always leaves on the roof of the porch. I can’t climb down to the porch to sweep up those leaves. It is a glass roof and if I mis-step on the wrong supporting frame, I may drop crashing through the glass. My alternative is to stand on a firmer support and use a very long stick to push deviant leaves away from the drainage pipe. If I can push them nearer to me, I might be able to reach them with my broom.
Meditating on the possibility of reversal
I wish the leaves would fly away, using their same mode of transport, from whence they came. Can the wind can blow both ways? Can the wind blow them back to where they belong?
I can’t reverse time, to before those leaves fell down. But I can wish that the wind might blow them away.
