I’m meditating on family relationships. Where am I right now, with my family relationships? Not at a comfortable place. A relative is getting engaged and someone in my family has to attend the engagement ceremony. This involves flying overseas and being away for ages. All of us can’t fly together because of expenses and our garden at home will see its demise.
Meanwhile, I mind the fort. This is a secretly rough neighborhood. I write secretly because it looks calm on the surface but it teems with a different sort of life behind doors. For readers who have been following my posts on my neighbors, neighborhood, and noise, will understand.
