Ten Things of Thankfulness (TToT) is open from Thurs Apr 9 to Tue Apr 14 2026. This is my list of gratitudes.
(1) Most people hate going to the dentist. I’m grateful my new dentist caught my plaque problem early. I bought interdental toothbrush & anti-plaque toothpaste.
(2) Last TToT, I wished for rain and on Monday, it came.
(3) If the website doesn’t fit, search again, and I found one good website. I’m searching for good books on writing nonfiction/ creative nonfiction.
(4) Thankful to do tiny watercolor paintings, approximately 3 inch breadth by 2 inch height, at https://booksreviewsandmore.com/100tinytreasures-of-miscellaneous-people-are-you-here/
(5) I’ve been hunting for several items for human and household. Got them after a few searches.
(6) Thanks for new flowers.

(7) Grats for https://booksreviewsandmore.com/a-z-challenge-2026-theme-reveal-book-reviews-miscellaneous/ A – H post links are there, since readers can’t find my individual A – H posts.
(8) I walked out to buy take-out dinner. Great to eat outside food one in a while.
(9) Thankful that a contractor has finally agreed to clean and wash my roof gutter, for the standard charge. I did my balconies but I can’t climb up to the roof.
(10) Thank you for blogger support.

This is a beautiful list, eating outside in a nice location is a blessing sometimes when you just have to get out from under a roof.
I’ve been enjoying your A to Z and really appreciate the ten line essay.
I’m thankful for flowers, too. Spring is such a beautiful time of year!
Dear Mimi,
Thanks for your support.
I don’t like books on “how to” write but I have a few books by authors writing about writing – Margaret Atwood for one – and I find their more oblique slant interesting…
Thanks for supporting my A to Z with regular visits Cai…
Blogging is sharing. Like the way you’ve shared your time and knowledge with others. Feedback is nice too.
what everyone else said, plus…
to Grat #9 two words: “…and you shouldn’t even try”*
*maybe you have a house with a flat roof (we have them here) but if the gutter is more that, say, three feet off the ground… leave it to the professionals**
** personal experience: despite how many times in movies the hero falling/sliding towards the edge of the roof (aka the gutters) the average person cannot save themselves by grabbing the gutter as they slide past. I know because I tried… once lol
have a good week ahead!
