There was rain. Humans and plants were thankful, along with the weeds.

A new road is almost ready to be functional.

Along with it comes a new bus stop. There can never be enough bus stops or buses. Each bus is packed tighter than sardines in a tin can when it is peak hour and sometimes even when it is non-peak hour too.

We went to the airport to greet somebody. How often do I have an excuse to visit the local airport? Not often at all. That’s why this occasion is to be celebrated.

Rain is always welcome! A lovely list this week. ❤️
As much as we may not like it, rain is a necessity.
More busses are a definite good thing. Nothing worse than traveling public transit when even the standing room only is crazy close.
Gorgeous orchid.
Rain and a new bus-stop – great things to be grateful for! My orchids are all in healthy leaf growth but no flowers -anticipation is a joy as well…
I too enjoyed the photo of the rain on the leaf. For whatever reason that always grabs my attention… the individual drops convexing (or is that concaving) the leaf below.
also… newly paved roads!! love them so much fun to drive on when they are smooth and quiet and such
haven’t been to an airport since I can’t remember when!
I understand the thought and feeling about the non-flowering orchid. I bought my plant when it was bearing two stalks of flowers. It has been years since that first time and although new leaves grow, no flowers show.
