Halp, I’m under the weather

Halp, I’m under the weather, but in this TToT, what do I give thanks for?

TToT stands for Ten Things of Thankfulness and every week, we meditate on our gratitudes, posting them to share in this bloghop.

Bear holds his umbrella against the pellets of rain.
He does better with a raincoat and umbrella. I am, literally and physically, under the weather.
  1. Warm weather in the morning, allowing laundry to dry.
  2. Rain in the late afternoon, to cool off and water the soil to relieve the scorched earth.
  3. There was only one day of thunderstorm (thankfully).
  4. Its heavy rainfall drenched the soil.
  5. Throughout this week, the quality of air is good.
  6. Thanks to the many inventors who have invented the umbrella and improved it through evolution. It could have been first invented in 1100 B.C. By and by, many innovators improved upon its design.
  7. Thank you to Charles Macintosh, a Scot chemist who created the waterproof fabric and made it possible to sew the raincoat. In a storm, heavy rain propelled by wind pelt us every which way and a raincoat does wonders.
  8. Readers and bloggers

9. God and his saints.

10. Thanks for a shelter from nomadic meandering, so that I can draw & paint. Please introduce your fellow bloggers who run doodle prompts. Thanks.

Dear TToT CEO,

Is it ok to draw & show comics about TToT? Is it ok to post such said comics in any posts not pertaining to TToT? Would you want to be informed of such posts?

Yours sincerely,

Cai.

  1. (in reverse order) (ikr! who’s surprised by that) (lol)

hey! while not a CEO (though it sounds cool to read… yep…gonna stick a music vid to accent our point hope it works…see below)

    I would say, why not?

The bottom line, (and single requirement for participation), is to be ‘of good intent’ that means that whatever you might choose to add is: a) should be enjoyable to Readers and Co-Hostinae & Hosts and 2) is something you find enjoyable and therefore are grateful to be in a position to share with others
(see Rule 7.2a from the Book of Secret Rules aka the Secret Book of Rules that holds: “…[w]hen a participant is happy to have something they enjoy enough to feel like sharing is good, then (subchapter U.2..3) by all means. ibid, op.cit… 2009-2044”)

    ya know?

It’s hard to imagine anyone who is participating here would take advantage of a built-in, if not captive crowdlette of Readers to sell stuff.

Hypo-grat!! This is the special category of items valid for inclusion in a list of Gratitudes… aka the broken shoelace epiphany ‘My shoelace broke. But at least I have shoes to protect my feet.’
Plenty of rest, fluids and such

  2. I think I got all your points. I would gather all relevant comic strips to paste in the actual TToT post. I haven’t started the series yet. Thank you.

  3. In windy storms, there never has been an umbrella wide enough to shelter me. On behalf of the umbrella community, thank you for your support.

  4. I’m thankful for any protection from severe weather, too. May your umbrella always be strong in the wind!

  5. loved your list… weather is a big deal… there’s nothing like a fresh rain… my plants are nourished and a raincoat these days are so awesome they really keep you dry on a long walk… umbrellas i have one though i never use it… i like the rain and don’t mind a good soak….

  6. Thank you for reading. I visited your TToT post but can’t find the button to click for Commenting.

  7. Sorry to hear you are under the weather, AND under the weather, Cai! I love your sketches especially the wind blasted hair – please continue to season your posts with them…
