Why my kitchen is only one induction hob outdoors.
“But we only have one induction hob! How are we to cook three different lunches for us three people?”
“Don’t worry. We each have different times to eat lunch so our cooking schedules won’t clash. We’re not going to cook all three lunches simultaneously.”
“I hate our stupid contractor. He spoiled everything for us. He broke his promise to get our kitchen ready in time for us to move into in July 2024. He cheated us. We lost money in having to pay four months of rental. That’s money down the drain.”
“He took our money and didn’t start building our kitchen cabinets, kitchen counter, sink, pantry, or install our induction hob and oven.”
“He used our money for his own purposes. Now he has no money to pay his carpenter to start fabrication of our cabinets.”
“Its been four months and he has ignored all our messages. He’s playing hard to catch.”
“It hurts. We’re running down our cash.”
“Now our kitchen is just one induction hob on a rickety table outdoors in the front porch.”
“I heard one neighbor trying to mock us by saying we have no shame cooking outdoors.”
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of. There are other neighbors cooking outdoors too. They’re renting a bedroom and have no permission to use the house’s kitchen. So they make do by cooking outdoors.”
“I wish I never met that contractor D******. he has ruined our kitchen and our lives.”
“I’m not spending any money hiring another contractor to finish what D****** started. I’ll wait for him. The unsightly mess is testament to his work.”
