Try meditating with an affirmation to increase self-esteem & confidence

What is an affirmation and how do you meditate with one? An affirmation is a positive statement. When you meditate with a positive statement, you increase your self-confidence, boost your self esteem, gain more courage and etc.

When you meditate, you make the thought enter into consciousness and it is absorbed. You believe in the affirmation and it takes root.

Let’s choose a line from the Bible, to use as our affirmation now.

In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3 : 6

He will straighten our convoluted, knotted and obstructed paths, when we pray to Him. If it is God’s Will that we have to walk a certain path, He will send help. Jesus will help us to carry our cross. Most of us wish to be freed of our cross. However, Jesus did not promise us a smooth path Even He was not spared as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsame. Jesus then cried out, “Father, Thy will be done.”

Jesus was apprehended, tried, beaten, crucified and died.

When Jesus was carrying his cross, his path was made a little straighter (easier) for him, when the soldiers told Simon to carry Jesus’ cross for him.

You will be helped. You are precious in the sight of God. Be confident every day.
