Rojie asks for a post on US Indigenous People Day

Today, October 12, is Indigenous People Day in the US. Rojie asks to write about US Indigenous People and here it is:

I used to write topics related to dreams. I did research on a few different cultures who had traditional values and meanings attached to dream symbolism.

In 2020, when I started to read and research on Native Americans, I received the impressions they were also called other names like American Indians, or North American Indians. The evolution is continuous and in 2026, they are referenced as Indigenous People.

They lived in America, and their theology evolved independently. However, It is similar to the German Sigmund Freud’s. He said mankind’s secret desires are revealed in dreams.

The old theology of Natives taught that those who dreamed of an act, were guilty of committing the act, even though the action was not done. That perspective is correct in the light of intent. When there is an intention to commit an act, the person is as good as guilty, as they would commit the act, when they have the opportunity. Thus, the old way of the Natives advocated meting out punishment for dreaming of doing a certain forbidden act. They also believe that their souls travel out of their bodies during sleep, to commit certain acts.

That is the most outstanding and controversial opinion of the Natives’ ethnic dispense of justice.

My original post is

If you are one of the Indigenous People of any country and have written a book of stories of your real dreams, please leave a comment here.
