Feeding Hunger

Hunger, I can’t sate her;

She churns my tummy.

Without enough money,

I can’t silence her.

*

She churns my tummy,

growling for food that’s yummy.

I can’t silence her,

she won’t take no like a dummy.

*

Growling for food that’s yummy,

others can hear you’re hungry.

She won’t take no like a dummy,

you gotta dig your pocket for money.

*

I can’t please her

without enough money.

She grumbles her displeasure.

Hunger, I can’t sate her.

*

The End.
