Meditation on Thankfulness Sep 29 – Oct 3 2025

This week’s Mediation on Thankfulness has less than Ten Things of Thankfulness (TToT):

Before:

White flowers May 11 2025.

After: The flowers and leaves increase in size.

The landscape's white flowers after almost 2 months, June 25 2025.

I’m thankful for special treats, like watching a movie at the theater. My tastebuds had sensory stimulation with my visual stimulation – chicken and “One Battle After Another”. In my city, movie theaters and libraries are threatened with extinction because they’re under-used. I’m impartial to spending money supporting a movie theater.

I drew sketches of the cast for a post on the movie review.

Since I was invited to co-host to persuade more bloggers to join TToT, I try to read and comment to boost the participants’ visibility in blog feeds. Thank you for reading.

  1. I do enjoy reading your thankful list and I try to read many of your other posts, even if I don’t comment on all of them. I’ve tried to put your blog in my blog roll list to get and update each time you post, but it doesn’t do it.

  2. what a fun TToT.

(Fun in this case being defined as…”ok, nice Before and After photos…wait, what? a movie review?!?! and sketches?!. very cool. Like that old saying reminds us: ‘Variety is the spice of life.’)

As I often say, back in the before time, when this bloghop was just starting, blogging was more popular (or numerous or ubiquitous whatevs) and gratitude blogs were everywhere. But our founder, Lizzi, in her wisdom did two things that set us apart: 1) found 10 people to co-host and b) encouraged creativity in all aspects of a post)

gotta say, you’re fitting right in in terms of being a Hostinae here

also like the sense of spreading the word on the TToT!
    coolito

  3. As Clark says, blogging used to be more of a universal thing, now compartmentalisation into Poetry, News, Politics, Cat-loving etc. has put us all into silos – I am glad to have been brought into this more generalised fold and enjoyed your Thankfuls this week…
