Meditate on plants: Mindful Doodles #257

Mindful Doodles #257

He’s an avid gardener. He can’t bear to see stem cuttings being tossed away in the trash or compost heap. He saved the cuttings for planting himself. If you happen to come across a pile of stem cuttings being thrown away, would you save them too? Theoretically, he’s doing good by saving the new plants. For practicality, he should have the energy and land space to plant so many new plants. He has sentiments for living things.

Saving lives.

Meditation for this reading:

This man has meditated on the sanctity of life. He believes plants have lives too. A life is a life. Save a plant’s life if you can.

A plant can be a house pet too. If you keep a plant at home, talk to it, the way you would to a friend. If you ask a question, look at the plant carefully. What does it look like it would say, if it could speak? Your own disposition can imagine the plant giving an answer. Maybe its the manner in which the plant looks at you. Maybe it is something about the plant, which speaks to you. The plant has life. All plants have life. We msut respect plant life too.
