Don’t junk away papers that can be recycled. If you like to draw and paint, recycle old newspapers, brown paper and all other re-usable papers. You can save some money by recycling papers.

More importantly, you don’t need to use more new paper. Every new writing or drawing book means the natural resource of trees was used to produce paper for the books.

We can always meditate (think) on how to recycle our junk, to reduce using new resources, as this destroys the environment. Even when you throw away manufactured objects, you harm the soil of the environment as landfills take hundreds to thousands of years to break down the components, to be returned to earth.
