Meditate for Insight: Mindful Doodles #53

Mindful Doodles #53: The young man had previously sat on the same sofa as the older man. He removed his wrist watch and placed it on the sofa. After leaving his seat, he forgot to take his wristwatch. He realized this and returned to look for it. When he saw the older man sitting in his former seat, he politely asked the old man to stand up to allow him to take his watch.

Be mindful of where you place your personal belongings.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.

Why be mindful? By paying time and attention to a disturbing stimulus, you deal  with it. It ceases to be new and disruptive to you. You have released anxiety. You have greatly reduced your mental stress.

Mindful Thought of the Day:
Be mindful of where you place your belongings.

Meditate for insight

When you’re missing something, or when something is wrong, meditate for insight. When you reflect carefully, you will retrace your steps and remember details. You might become aware of your mistakes and what went wrong. Then you see your chances to rectify the mistake. Sometimes it isn’t possible to retrace your route and return in time to rectify your mistake. In those cases, you may have to accept the outcome, but remember deeply to avoid making the same kind of error again.
