This is how I battle insomnia – by using products that induce my body to sleep.
For serious insomnia caused by environmental, psychological, or un-natural disturbances; I tried melatonin products.

I took out the labels to photograph them better as the bottle is cylindrical. I will take pics of the bottle of fluid too. The liquid is very light yellow in color.

This is what the bottle looks like when its plastic label is removed. Melatonin is sensitive to light and that is why the entire cylinrical bottle has a wrap around plastic label to protect it. I keep my bottle indoors and aay from the windows.

If your bedtime is 10:30 pm, you can start spraying yourself with lavender & melatonin, at 8 pm. This allows a period of 2 1/2 hours for melatonin to work. If you spray your skin and/ or pillow at 10:30 pm when you hit your bed, you will have to wait to allow time for the melatonin to be absorbed into your skin, before it can take effect.
I also bought Dr. Teal’s Sleep Spray. Besides the base Melatonin, it also includes lavender and chamomile. For me, this spray works faster and better than Doctor’s Way Sleep Spray. The difference is that Dr Teal’s formula includes chamomile. The company has also invested in making the bottle a dark color, to protect the solution from exposure to light.

If you desire to use melatonin that works on a shorter notice, like 30 to 45 minutes, get the edible melatonin capsules. There are two types with different dosages.
This is the Extra Strength edition:

The products are sold at pharmacies and online retailers.
Potential users should get permission from their doctors before trying melatonin.
Users should also start on a low dosage to test their body’s response, before they decide to increase the amount of use.
