Once again, we come together to celebrate our thanks for a good week. Its Ten Things of Thankfulness (TToT).
Magazines galore. I bought 4.

This happens quite often.

Rain for plants.

We visited the traveling Pop Air Balloon Museum. It originated in Rome, in 2020. I suppose when Covid-19 was a pandemic, balloon installations were a welcome distraction.

The balloon structures were larger than life, taller than twice the height of the human species. You can see the metal pipes extensions protruding out like Pinocchio’s nose. The main body of the balloon looks like a winter melon, and so do its two arm limbs. It looks like a giant Halloween lantern. The balloon at the center also looks like a melon or squash. The lights in the balloons changed colors at intervals.

Newspapers. Its a luxury to read newspapers in a leisurely manner without having to watch the clock and do some sort of work.

I can’t wait to read new posts.
I enjoy newspapers (the puzzles, with a pencil) and magazines. As for letting people jump the cue, I’ve done it often when there are few registers open and a person behind me has only a couple of items and I have a basket full.
Loved the baloons and also gave thanks for a little rain for the plants this week..m
fun TToT this week… your first grat takes me back… it’s been longer than I realize that I’ve gone to a story and looked at hardcopy magazine!
yes, I would
(found a new fun way to deal with automatic doors (like at the supermarket)… if there is another person approaching the door at approximately the same time, I make a (slightly) exaggerated step forward (to the sensor that triggers the doors and lean back… holding the door for someone 21st Style!

The balloon museum sounds interesting. I hadn’t heard of it before. Thanks for sharing!
