Calumny: Mindful Doodles #113

This is a social problem of one family, which became psychological and physically destructive for a totally different person.

A woman was visiting relatives out of state when she chanced upon a plot to implicate her in a complex family saga. Her relatives had a couple of teenager children, who they wanted to off load on somebody else. The issue was the parents declined to financially support the college going teens. The youngsters collaborated to influence their immediate family members to proposition all other relatives to sponsor them. This went on unsuccessfully for several years, before this unsuspecting woman visited her relatives.

She ventured their territory and was set upon. Her hunters created a visible army of supporters to bully and subjugate her. They tried to brain wash her by saying she had a major episode of amnesia while producing two children with an unknown man. Now she has to be responsible for the maintenance of them because their father has disappeared. The culprits gossiped to spread their propaganda of lies to win support for their plot. Like the Dark Age when people believed in magic, they didn’t question on the logical progression of events but believed in heresy and impossibility of concocted lies. They managed to gather quite a crowd to stand on their side and attack the woman. People began to view her with suspicion, and moral blaming. She was mocked, humiliated, opposed, bullied, abused, starved and tortured.

The woman was confused, frightened, stressed and depressed. She thought of running away from the nightmarish place. It was not that easy. Her relatives tightened their noose around her. She thought of leaving that hell hole. She planned to walk along the road, for as far as she could, before hiding in the under-bush to die.  Suddenly, God sent his rescuers. Good people were used like pawns in God’s game of chess. She was whisked away to safety.

This is not the end of her story. The offenders are persisting in laying traps for their grand scheme of things.

Writing prompt calumny.

Mindful Doodles #113:

Dream of daytime activity like praying.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.

Why be mindful? By paying time and attention to a disturbing stimulus, you deal  with it. It ceases to be new and disruptive to you. You have released anxiety. You have greatly reduced your mental stress.

Mindful Thought of the Day:
Never give up on your life. You were not born to die for trivial reasons. Fight the good fight. Resolution comes.
