Bob’s plan was to return to his wife’s corporeal body’s side, while her immortal soul could already be very near him. He would make a telephone call to his in-laws and request them to hold the body in the mortuary. He would try to make it back within 24 hours, to personally administer her funeral rites, pending availability of flights. He made a furry of phone calls and established his flight route, booked his ticket and related his travel plans to his sister. He hurriedly packed his luggage and took his leave. After he left, she (the narrator from the beginning of this series) went from room to room, searching carefully for signs of the visitor; where is the orb ……. but it had other plans and had made itself scarce.
Footnote – I have typed 3 short chapters explaining why the body was loaded into the vehicle, the return of the orb & what it does, where the orb hides in plain sight. I’m waiting for each week’s prompt to edit and include the prompt words into the chapters, before posting.

Sunday’s Six Sentence Stories’ prompt is “plan”.

Where to find the rest of the story, in short chapters:

There are multiple levels, dimensions or facets of reality. I wonder who the “she” was who went searching in the last sentence.
Hi Frank,
She refers to the narrator from the start of this series on The Orb. Maybe you can write what you know about “There are multiple levels, dimensions or facets of reality.” This sounds very interesting. Thanks for visiting.
