Mindful Doodles #56:
A young woman chills as she reads. She is comfortable sitting cross legged on the sofa. She also scratches her head, like a nod to her assimilation, as her reading material sinks into her brain.

Mindful Doodles is a series of comic/ cartoon drawn on assimilating stimuli that comes into my mind. My surrounding and environment are dynamic. As events happen, the stimuli enters my brain and I pay attention to them. I am not mentally disturbed as I pay due respect to each stimulus. I ponder upon how I would deal with the stimulus, to manage the situation. I try to discover what lesson the Universe bestows on me in this encounter. I write my discovery as my Mindful Thought of the Day.
Why be mindful? By paying time and attention to a disturbing stimulus, you deal with it. It ceases to be new and disruptive to you. You have released anxiety. You have greatly reduced your mental stress.
Mindful Thought of the Day:
Reading is a good habit when you choose good books. It fills the mind with food for thought.
Meditation to assimilate the stimulus
After we read a book, we should meditate by thinking on the important messages in the book. We should also take notes in a journal and title this writing book with a name that we can remember what it is for. Examples of suitable titles are:

What I Can Do To Benefit From Ideas
We must make actions work for us, and not boast of empty thoughts. We allocate some time to try out the ideas learned from books. Then we journal to record our feedback from implementing the suggestions.
