But first, some flowers:

My TToT (Ten Things of Thankfulness)
(1) Thanks for Synchronicity, when our bloggers came together to show photos of small stones, big rocks and immovable boulders here – https://artmater.com/on-the-rock-trail-rockhop/
It just happened!
(2) Thank you, Clark, for your pick on reader’s choice of author. Double thanks. The other one is for starting the Rock Trail rockhop.
(3) I have a stack of “teach yourself”, but the real deal was practicing. Thanks to the writing prompts. I have followed a few online writing schools, but I don’t fit into their compartments.
(4) Thanks for anonymous readers.
(5) Thankful for a reader’s delight. Lillian uploaded a whole performance play of photos and a video here https://sognafaret.blogspot.com/2026/09/kampen-om-norge-begynner-pa-kvien.html

(6) Thanks for the TToT prompt of bookshelves and a specific book title inside a shelf.
Is this a bookhop? Are we going to do a bookhop every TToT? Specific prompts could be “Recommend a book from this second row right-most corner from your bookshelf”, or “Recommend a book on plotting” and etc.
I have only one bookcase. My TBR books are inside my bookcase, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be reading all of them. I’ll still pick and choose them again. Books not in use are packed into a cardboard box. I rearrange my books often, according to what I deem useful to me at my present time.

(7) Grateful that I received a new set of dry cakes.
(8) Grateful for a reviewer on Amazon, who warned that a book about writing, was actually written by AI.
(9) Thankful I discovered my present hurdle … it is about plotting.
(10) My thanks to God, His Angels and His Saints.
(11) Grateful for a writing challenge from https://dancer2010b49ab801397.wordpress.com/about/. Please join and write one post if you can.

A lovely list 👍 The balloon sculpted flowers are also very amazing.
love the balloons and drawing!
Thank you, Aptivi.
Thank you Rojie.
the balloon flowers were, somehow to me, way impressive…maybe the richness of color or their shapes (not an art guy) liked ’em
Grat # 3 I could identify with… perhaps ‘not fitting into their compartments’ is not the worst thing in the world… I feel fortunate for the two ‘hops I frequent (this one and the Six Sentence Story) where there is a lack of judgement between participants (at least as far as I can see)
have a great week
It’s a wonderful list, I also like the balloon flowers. When my daughter did balloon animals and such, I don’t know if she ever did flowers.
Practicing for yourself is always the real deal.
The books I am using are usually on my desk, but with so much online most of the ones I’m reading are on a digital drive. I have run into books online that I think were made by AI.
Hi Frank,
Thank you for affirming about some books being generated by AI. Some publishers are honest enough to state on the book cover that a publication was written by AI. Then there are reviewers who blow the whistle, maybe because the price was expensive and the content not good.
Those balloon flowers look really cool and pretty. I also liked the drawing and your bookshelf!
Balloon flowers? Delightful!
I liked #1 and #3. The lizard rock was very cool. A pleasant discovery! You are spot on about writing. It is 99% practice. The more we write the better we become, especially with the help of all the writing prompts available.
Hi Denise. Thank you for reading and commenting.
Reelika, thanks.
