Broken Foot’s setting #3 of 30

Write about Broken Foot’s setting and how it affects my experience of injury.

The setting:

1. I work from home.
2. I do my own housework.
3. I water the plants in the garden.

How will my activities change after my accident?

I can still do (1) and (2). I can’t do (3).

What are the consequences of change?

The plants may die from lack of water, especially in the hot climate.

How a broken foot affects my experience of injury:

1. Injury is an inconvenience.

2. It affects my personal performance in housework.

3. I have to spend money on medical care, x-rays, transport to the hospital and clinic, medication, aids for walking like the Apollo Walker boot, 2 bandages, painkillers & etc.
