If you work outside home, you would be quite tired by the time you reach home, in the evening. That is assuming you don’t have to work overtime and return home even later than usual.

Some people throw off their work related stress and anxieties at home. While others are unable to shake off their office worries. The women or single men have to cook at home, or order home delivery. Cooking takes time and effort. Some people can destress in a short while by playing their music or visual media. Some people need more time and concentration to de-escalate and return to calmness.

If you feel upset because of work or other issues, you might want to meditate to return to calm. Sit in your usual place for meditation. Choose a simple meditation to focus on. Give yourself a short period of time, like 15 minutes, because you have to attend to your cooking and other chores.

Ask yourself if your short meditation is enough. Or would you like to meditate further? Tell yourslef you’ll return to meditating after all your compulsory domestic work is done.

Then do your routine for your evening. After you’ve completed the necessary tasks, you can return to meditation for a bit, before you retire for the night.
