My worlds collided and crashed many times. My natal family wasn’t supportive and I was left to find my solutions even when i was not ready to give up university and start work. Other incidents were similar, when I was left in the lurch and expected to step up to the plate and take charge. Now that I’m older, I’m asked to take over other people’s baby, kid, senior adult, provide board and lodging for entire family units and etc. I’m not that capable so when my social circle asks to enter into my private home life, I think I have many reasons to feel defeated and unable to meet those expectations. I slowly slink away.
