Broken Foot’s new connection in recent weeks is with bloggers who have read my posts and responded with empathy. I had decided to write frankly about Broken Foot. Few people have insights into serious injury and the surrounding consequences. Even the culprits who caused Broken Foot are unaware of the medical, physiological, psychological, financial, mental, emotional and spiritual repercussions of injury.
Here’s the write-up of consequences and new connections:
- Medical – check-ups, X-rays, oral medication, counseling for care,
- Physiological – prescription includes bed rest, slow rehabilitation, self performed physiotherapy, progression. towards normal activity.
- Psychological – counselling for fears, anxieties, resources, aid.
- Financial – application for insurance, medical aid.
- Mental – counseling for mental stress, subsequent problems.
- Emotional – there has been no let up of noise at night. The cray-cray are operating at full blast.
- Spiritual – there used to be a poltergeist type of disturbance but that has been absent for a few months. Maybe it has passed into another realm.
- New connections – a few bloggers have reached out to share experiences, knowledge and empathy.
