Broken Foot has no need for travel outside home since her relatives have taken over the running of errands like green grocery and dry grocery shopping. Her only trips outside are to the orthopaedic specialist’s clinic inside the hospital block.
She would have liked to hobble to church but her visiting relation would have none of that.
He said, “I’m not here so that you can walk around and put stress on your foot. I’m here to take care of the chores so that you can rest Broken Foot. If you’re not going to rest then I might as well take off in the next flight.”
Her ambitions of attending church and going to book stores, would have to wait.
