Answering as per the question, here’s the list of places I’ve been, this Thursday, June 25, 2026.
- After doing some work online, I stood on the road outside, to wait for my private car hire.
- I traveled to my herbalist, Ms P, who WFH (works from home). I bought a bag of herbs.
- After this errand was complete, I walked to the bus stop on the main road. I took a bus, which moves along a circle internal route, back to the town center, where the shopping mall is.
- In the mall, I walked up one flight of steps as the escalator was switched off for maintenance. I rode another two flights up to the book store, to buy card holders for contact cards. i chose the simplest, minimalist design for low weight and fuss. The book style of card holder was heavy. My choice was purely plastic jackets for cards.
- I retraced my journey down, in the opposite direction, to reach the basement, where the supermarket was. I searched for ready-to-eat box meals and grabbed the remaining four boxes from the shelf. Convenience foods sell fast. The queue for the cashier was very long. I decided to check out using the machine. This had a long queue too but it was fast moving. I was done real quick.
- I took the escalator up, and browsed a costume jewelry store. It had a rosary necklace, but the arrangement of the beads was wrong. Two beads were in the wrong position. It would be troublesome to look for the craftsman to dismantle the “wrongly placed” beads and re-position them back into the chain. The major discouragement was that the material worth was not good. I told the saleswoman I would need to think over this item.
- I walked to the vehicle porch outside the mall and called for a private hire car to send me back home.
