My TToT

(1) Thankful for a calm week.

(2) For cooler weather.

(3) I was lucky to avoid involvement in another family’s drama.

(4) Thankful for physiological healing.

(5) It is getting closer to a new year. Approximately 3 1/2 months more.

(6) One sickly relative (not me) who has borrowed another relative for caregiving chores for more than one year, maybe moving to stay with another caregiver. This means the borrowed person can finally return home to do their own chores in their home. How great my God is, to send relief for those concerned.

(7) Sometimes, help and victory are not from removal of problem. Victory can come from persistent habit and adaptation to the problem. Something good was derived from an initial bad situation. I suppose I can view this as a hypograt.

(8) Thankful I had take-out dinner on Wed. night.

(9) Grateful for materials for the mind and soul. I’ll show the input for the mind for now. The other has to wait.

(10) Grateful to God, his angels and saints.

(11) Happy to share a photo of a painting that came to my city on a world tour exhibition. Lady Lee Manila went to National Gallery Museum, in Trafalgar Square, London, to see this painting hanging on the wall. It is synchronicity and a stroke of good luck that

Lady Lee decided to stand in front of this painting to pose for her picture and she chose this particular shot to share in her post for this week’s TToT. Please visit her post. Thank you.

  1. I like your list this week. I can relate to 1, 2, 5, and 7. You’re right, victory can come from adapting to problems and embracing persistent habit. 👍

  2. Yes! Avoiding family dramas – wise move, Cai… I think that Haystack is a Monet if I’m not mistaken. Such a simple subject, but a painting that defines what the Impressionists were all about – beautiful…

  3. Thank you for the identification. I thought it was a house because there looks to be houses in the far background. There is Claude Monet’s signature on the left corner.

  4. I agree with the others, not being caught in another family’s drama is pretty always a wise decision…

and Grat #7 very good! that would be considered a hypograt which a pro-level gratitude appreciation! lol (we’re the only grat blog I know of that officially recognized (and applauds) those who can find the good in the seemingly bad. nicely done!

  5. Great list! Loved the painting and always happy to stay out of family drama… And take out… Sometimes it is all I need to be happy 😊… Especially when am too tired to cook at home…
