Waking up in the middle of the night, she went to the kitchen to fetch a drink of water. It was hot and humid there. She opened the kitchen’s back door to cool the kitchen while she was there, and immediately sighted a small, black creature moving along the side of the outer wall. It followed the skirting of the wall, walking in straight lines. Its movement was rigid, like a piece of machinery being driven. It must be blind or has poor night vision. She quickly shut the back door. What can this critter be?
