It was my favorite photo back then because I liked the stitching that composed the picture. I stopped this type of embroidery as it was time consuming and only for aesthetic purpose.
Some people have invented their own unique kinds of embroidery and some have marketed their works. The embroidery could also be done on garments.

How to sew this portrait?
- Get a piece of plain cloth.
- Choose your thread color.
- Choose your photo.
- Draw on your fabric, according to your preferred size.
- Sew a plain stitch for your outlines.
- Choose a thicker stitch for the hair.
- Sew densely for colored areas like the pupils and lips.
- Decide what pattern to make for the blouse/ shirt/ top.
- Draw the outlines for the top’s pattern.
- As you sew along, feel free to invent your stitches to suit the outlines.
