The wonder of nature’s struggle for survival is shown in this tiny bird’s nest, built within the fold of a pumpkin leaf.

I can’t tell where the bird obtained those white strands of fiber. They look like spider’s web strands, but thicker. The bird has used this thread to stitch or fold the leaf, so that it forms a hollow, to cradle its nest.

From the bird’s perspective, its nest is perfect. The leaf was meant for its use. See how it makes a good cradle for its nest?
