Dear Reader,

I choose to write you a postscript to share my thoughts and happenings in my sphere. Asv you can tell, this is my first postscript and subsequent ones will follow the same format as Postscripts (01). I hope to make postscripts writing a regular habit.

Last week, there was a small change in my schedule. I did not speak of it but I took it to be an indication of different things to come. What are the changes?

I had been considering drawing and writing together. I used to create single frame, one panel comic. I narrated stories from my life. I was healing from a type of PTSD and I couldn’t talk much. I drew the comics to communicate, to reach out. I posted my comics as Mindful Doodles here. There are only around 70 webpages of search results that show the post titles of my series on Mindful Doodles.

This time, I shall title my series another name. I hope to start posting a few, before I announce my new series in a new letter of the day.

I had been drawing and watercolor painting for #100tinytreasures, without a definite theme. They’re called #tinytreasures because the card papers are very small. I chose my size to be around 3 inches by 2 inches, to fit into a floss pick stick box. I started with painting authors of books I reviewed. Then I fell into a kind of rut. I couldn’t read fast enough to draw and paint 2 different authors every week, to fulfill the requirement of completing 2 #100tinytreasures, to accumulate towards the count of 100 pieces of watercolors, by the dateline of 20 March 2027. I decided to change my theme. I drew ordinary people in different, ordinary poses. It is kind of meaningless, with no specific theme. I thought of writing a caption that carries value, to accompany the art. That would require a larger piece of art paper. I’m still experimenting to find my groove. You can look at my ongoing collection of #100tinytreasures here.
