When I walk up the slope to a bus stop, I pass by this river. The small boat is moored there for maintenance crew to use.
This is a very long river and at some points, I sometimes see people trying to fish. My family sometimes go walking by the river and they say they’ve seen many freshwater terrapins swimming.

On good days, the water is clear enough to mirror reflections of its surroundings. When the water turns murky; like the color of milk tea, its too opaque to reflect light.
Like this.
